Computer References For Your Convienence

Let us help you help yourself

Here is a listing of resources that can aid you in solving your PC problems:

This is an excellent article on PC repair and service in Milwaukee (even though they didn't mention us): http://www.azstarnet.com/public/startech/archive/071002/wire5.html

· Technical Support hotline
Many new computers come with free technical support. This is usually the first, and best place to turn when you encounter a problem. Be sure to explain the problem thoroughly to the technician, without excluding any information. Write down any error messages that you have received. Telling the technician that you got an error saying "Cannot find the file vbrun32.dll" gives infinitely more information than "I got an error that said I was missing something"

· Read the documentation
One of the last things we often think of doing is reading the many pages of instructions that come with computer, hardware, or software. Often when things go wrong we often forget the wealth of troubleshooting information that these documents (sometimes) offer. Especially when installing new hardware or software, it's a good idea to at least glance at the documentation and see what it has to offer.
